Varsity Club Membership Terms
Version: varsity-club-2026-10-19-v1
Effective date: October 19, 2026
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms supplement Varsity Messaging LLC’s general Terms and Conditions, version varsity-terms-2026-10-19-v1. Affirmative member and participant acceptance is recorded with the applicable version. These terms describe the monthly membership model; they do not introduce annual plans, free trials, gifting or calls.
1. What you are purchasing
A Varsity Club is a recurring subscription to a particular Participant's disclosed shared content and community benefits. Posts can include text, photos, videos and selected member Q&A answers. They are shared with members rather than individually personalized. A membership does not purchase a personal video, a guaranteed answer to every question, a brand endorsement, an appearance, or access to private contact details. Any additional benefit must be accurately disclosed and permitted by the platform.
Support helps Participants pursue their education and subsequent careers. Memberships are purchases, not charitable donations, equity investments, a tax deduction, or a promise of graduation, professional success or a financial return to a member. Verified Participants may continue their clubs after graduation or a transition into professional sports, content creation or another career. Current affiliations and career status must be accurately described; continued participation is not school or employer endorsement.
2. Recurring price and affirmative consent
Before joining, you see the Participant's monthly price, a customer platform fee of 20% added to that price, the benefits and the minimum posting commitment. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout. The first charge occurs when checkout is completed. You affirmatively authorize recurring monthly charges to your chosen payment method until cancellation. The platform fee applies on each renewal. Renewal dates follow the processor's billing schedule and can differ in months of different lengths or local time zones. Memberships are billed in USD at launch; a card issuer may charge its own fees.
Prices and posting commitments are saved with your enrollment. A Participant changing a published offer does not silently raise an existing subscriber's price or reduce the recorded benefits. Current implementation does not automatically migrate existing memberships to revised offers. Any future migration requires clear advance notice and any consent required by law. Tax amounts can change according to applicable rules and your accurate billing location.
3. Benefits and posting commitments
Participants choose daily, weekly, monthly or a disclosed custom interval and a minimum number of items. One item weekly is recommended; a clearly disclosed less frequent schedule is permitted. A written update, a captioned photo or a video can each count as one published Participant update. Member discussion and a submitted member question do not count as Participant updates.
For operational checks, daily, weekly and custom intervals run from the paid period's starting timestamp. Monthly commitments apply to the paid billing period. A shortened final interval is checked proportionately, rounded up to at least one item. Participants remain responsible for the qualitative benefits they advertise; counting posts alone does not establish that every promise was fulfilled. Member questions may be selected for an anonymous shared response when submission consent is given. No answer is guaranteed unless expressly included in the advertised benefits.
New posts are screened using automated tools. Flagged or uncertain content requires human review before publication. Review is not a guarantee of legality, safety or accuracy. Participants must allow time for review when promising a schedule and must not publish restricted team information, unauthorized depictions of other people, private spaces, copyrighted material without permission, or real-time travel details that create privacy or safety concerns.
4. Access and use
Access requires a verified paid period and an eligible, unblocked account. An attempted or failed payment does not extend your paid-through date. Cancellation of renewal ordinarily leaves access through the already-paid period; an expired period ends access. Security restrictions, a lawful rights claim or a confirmed violation can limit access sooner, with appropriate review of paid benefits and remedies.
Member content is licensed for the member's personal, noncommercial viewing during authorized access. Do not republish, sell, distribute, scrape or share account credentials to give nonmembers access. Private membership content is not licensed for brand advertising or implied endorsements. Access to club content is not a permanent download or archive entitlement. The general one-year download availability for separately purchased personal videos does not apply to club posts.
5. Managing billing and cancellation
You may cancel future renewal through your Varsity membership controls or the configured Stripe billing portal. Do so before the next scheduled charge. The confirmation and paid-through date appear in your account. Cancellation is not conditioned on supplying a reason. You can use billing management to update cards and view invoices. If a self-service control fails, contact support promptly; a technical failure does not remove rights preserved by law.
Payment failures may trigger processor retries and payment-update reminders if recovery features are configured. Retries do not confer unpaid access or change the agreed membership price. Participants may stop accepting new members and end future renewals, but remain responsible for paid-period obligations or appropriate remedies. Account closure stops new purchases and initiates renewal cancellation; existing paid periods, orders and financial matters are settled before full closure. Required records may be retained under the Privacy Policy and law.
6. Refunds and problems with benefits
Canceling renewal does not by itself refund an already-paid period. Contact support if benefits are materially missing, content cannot be accessed, a duplicate/unauthorized charge occurs or another substantive problem arises. Include the club and invoice reference. Varsity reviews the recorded offer, published content and circumstances and can provide a full or other appropriate remedy subject to law. No blanket term waives nonwaivable consumer rights. A timely issue can hold the associated Participant payment pending review.
Do not promise an automatic refund solely because a member did not view available content. Conversely, do not deny a valid claim merely because a period ended, an account closed or the Participant left college. Fraud or payment disputes can restrict access and hold funds; the processor's dispute process remains available.
7. Participant earnings and responsibility
For a valid fully paid and fulfilled period, the Participant's gross listed earnings equal the advertised monthly rate; Varsity's fee is charged separately to the member. Earnings may be delayed, refunded or reversed for unfulfilled benefits, disputes or other applicable restrictions. Varsity ordinarily makes earnings eligible after the paid period ends and completion checks pass. Missing recorded commitments or reported problems require human review. Automated counts are an administration tool and do not guarantee satisfaction of every promised benefit. Actual bank deposits depend on the provider's onboarding and payout timing.
Participants are responsible for reporting their income and paying all taxes legally owed. Consult a certified tax attorney or another appropriately licensed tax professional to determine your obligations, which vary by state, residence and individual circumstances. Varsity provides no participant tax advice, income-tax calculation or personal tax-return preparation. Revenue reports distinguish earnings from customer platform fees and sales tax; they are operational records, not a determination of taxable income. Provider tax forms do not replace your reporting duties.
Current college Participants must disclose club transactions and compensation under Varsity's general terms and applicable school, conference and governing-body requirements. Graduates and professionals must follow requirements applicable to their present situation. An export is not automatic submission to any compliance office. Do not offer false benefits, synthetic activity or transactions designed to disguise payment for recruiting, athletic performance or other prohibited purposes.
8. Conduct, moderation and changes
The general content standards, privacy protections, first-confirmed-violation suspension and second-confirmed-violation ban apply to club posts and discussion. Confirmed enforcement decisions and consequential refund disputes receive human review. Users may submit a support ticket; human support is asynchronous. AI support cannot amend an offer, authorize a refund or give tax advice.
Participants keep their content rights and grant Varsity the operational permissions needed to store, process, moderate and show content to authorized members. Use of a school, league, brand or employer's intellectual property requires appropriate rights. Terms updates apply prospectively with notice and consent where required. An update does not erase existing paid-period obligations. Where these membership terms conflict with the general personal-order cancellation or 48-hour release rule, these membership-specific rules govern the subscription; separately purchased orders retain their own rules.
